The compact Dodge Dart of the mid-1960s was typically seen in no-frills, basic transportation spec. But for those who wanted to spice things up there was the Dart GT. Sporting added chrome trim and bucket seats, the GT also offered a peppy 273 V8 that could send the power to the rear wheels via an optional 4-speed stick or 3-speed automatic transmission. Here we have one of these rare Dodge Darts -- a 1966 Dart GT that must be seen and driven to be believed. Highlighting the rock-solid and arrow-straight original body panels, the meticulous black paint looks like you could dip your hand into it. Under the hood, the engine bay and the 273 V8 it contains is all as clean as the rest of the car. Fire it up and it sounds more like 383 cubes are in there, as the dual exhaust gives it the proper muscle car soundtrack.
