1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS finished in Black paint. Paint has been touched up where needed and has a good shine front to back. This one is a real deal RS/SS with a numbers matching 396ci V8 under the hood (recently rebuilt) with an MQ suffix code - originally 375hp engine. That engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Equipped with power steering and power brakes. RS style front end with hideaway headlight doors; which have been converted to be electrically operated now. Chrome and brightwork in good shape and shows well. Riding on slotted wheels with Chevrolet center caps and BF Goodrich white letter T/As. The body is dated the fourth week of April; date stamp on the engine is April 10th; the official cars production date (according to Chevrolet): May 8th, 1968. Originally a California car delivered to Courtesy Chevrolet, Thousand Oaks, CA. Black vinyl bucket seat interior with center console. Seats showing a small tear on the drivers side otherwise good shape. Aftermarket electric fan switch, oil pressure gauge, and water temp gauge added below the dash. This will include a spare tire, bottle jack, belts, spark plug wires, and other misc items. Our techs noted this is still running on break-in oil. Dyno sheets included with the car showing output prior to the rebuild showing 423 hp and 430 lb/ft torque.
