1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Incredible ride with numbers matching L34 396 (350 hp) backed by a TH-400 automatic. Canadian GM documents included with the car show it was built January 21st, 1970, and sold new in Carman Manitoba. This is one cool car with a very unique set of options ordered from the factory. Options include: 790 trim - Ivory bench seat and column shifter (very rare for an SS to be ordered without buckets), factory Cowl-Induction delete, Chrome door edges and wheel opening moldings, Rear window Blower-type defogger, Firm Ride and Handling suspension, 3.31:1 rear axle, power brakes with front discs, power steering, white letter tires, AM radio with rear speaker and windshield antenna and the Super Sport 396 package. The SS pack included the special turbo-jet engine with bright accents and dual exhaust with bright tips, 14x7 sport wheels, domed hood, black painted grill, rocker panel and belt molding deleted, special rear bumper with rubber SS inserts, and SS emblems on door trim, steering wheel, grill and front fenders. This particular car is in very nice condition. The car has been repainted at some point and has had a recent polish. Interior is largely original including the Ivory seats and door panels, except for new carpets being installed recently. Trunk has the correct spackle finish. Car is still making its way through mechanical checks to ensure everything is working like it should, but the detailing is done, and it looks fantastic. Odometer reads 35,000 miles, but with only 5 digits, true milage is unconfirmed. This thing will turn heads cruising this summer!
